OUTSIDE

:: Fort George: Running across the green is perfect for expending energy
:: Witherle Woods: More than four miles of hiking trails and groomed trails in the winter for cross–country skiing
:: The Back Shore: Generations of Castine children have learned to swim here and continue to enjoy the water now

BEYOND CASTINE
:: Treworgy Orchard: A family farm with spring, summer, and fall activities, including a corn maze, apple picking, a range of other fruits and vegetables by the season, and goat snuggling in the spring! You can find a schedule (and more information about bringing your dog) here. Entry is free. There is also no cost for hayrides, folk concerts, parking, picnic table use, the petting zoo, and having a great time! There is a charge for the corn maze and any produce or gifts you would like to take home.
